Yup and I think Biden was our last get out jail free card. I’m not seeing how the rest of the world ever looks at the US as the leader of the free world again. Once the economy crashes this time no one will come to help us fix it. But I could be wrong

Too many on the Left aren’t being realistic about the situation we are in.
Before we can talk about an Amendment we have to make more Red States competitive and solidly purple at a minimum. We are along way off from that but it can be done.

This was the way taxes were collected until 1914. They passed the 16th Amendment which allowed the Federal govt to tax ppl directly. The Constitution forbid the Feds from directly taxing but then we had the Civil War and some states acted a fool.

The 16th Amendment will get in the way but I think a skilled lawyer can make a solid argument or we try to repeal it.
