100%! Especially following the PS4 generation. This current gen was my most anticipated and this has turned me away from getting into the next gen immediately at launch. There have been some absolute gems though that I have adored but I’m yet to feel like the PS5 justifies its existence.

Currently at 43 new release movies in cinemas this year, about 19 of them were originals. They objectively exist but I think half of the originals I saw I had to see at out of the way boutique cinemas (which I love doing anyway) They just do not pull that same audience

For your personal viewing pleasure, I always suggest the same thing. Look at the award contenders of each year and watch the Best Picture nominees Pick your favourites from the selection after watching, and work backwards through the creative filmography’s. You’ll find new lifetime favourites
