There is something very tragic about self-identified "leftists" making the case that trivial, petty squabbles about hurt feelings on the Internet, and not the past 30 years of changes in the political economy, are the reason that New Deal/post-WWII social democratic politics have been defeated.

Assuming that our elections are still free and fair, Democrats are going to have the EASIEST FUCKING ARGUMENT in 2026, and literally all you have to do to lock your place in is to stand up to Trump consistently and not play stupid games.

A lot of this is very citation needed, but my takeaway from all of this is that these people realized that someone is going to want to primary their asses, and this is their argument that they shouldn't be primaried.
