Gonna have to switch over to this instead of the Alcaraz match then.

@orbinho.bsky.social I think Lasse here is correct and it should be 2023 instead of 2003 in your post. Even when I first saw it, I thought it was an insanely long duration for that to have not happened. I mean that late Wenger era was dire.

Think it means two successive home games (probably in all competitions as PL is not mentioned) with neither being victories. So any one of DD, LL, DL, LD will do. Were those City and Brentford matches successive home games or was one of them away?

Still hasn't accumulated 1 xG even. So unbelievably terrible.

*And likely replace Lawson at Red Bull racing midway through 2025 despite having less than half the points of Tsunoda.
comment in response to post
Maybe, but the likeliest outcome is something similar to when Albon was promoted too quickly. Red Bull just has a really bad record of managing their young drivers. I won't be surprised if Issac Hadjar becomes Max's teammate halfway through 2025.

Tempting fate...

Great list, I wish to watch this much in a year. Still, so much great stuff you started but didn't finish. Did you reach upto episode 4 'Cent'anni' in The Penguin? One of the best single episodes of TV this year. The show overall might be Tier 2 for me. Nothing tops Shogun this year of course.

Which film this year made the pod team cry the most in the theatre?

Pope's days are numbered.

I think Filmmaker mode is pretty good at making films and TV shows look right but it is not in most of the TVs sold even today. Most brands have their own similar functions but they are not called filmmaker mode and are generally tougher to find.

I suspect around 250 would have been par, England batted too poorly and NZ got those extra runs in the last few overs of the first evening.
comment in response to post
We need more films/TV with these 2. A buddy cop/road trip film with them next year would be perfect. Or you know, next season of Black Doves before next Christmas.

Reminding me of Mumbai in monsoon.

Well, United scored after 50 seconds of Amorim's first game in charge which was a brilliant goal as well. Klopp had a tough season taking over from Rodgers even though the team looked better under him that season. But they seriously started looking like top 4 team with Mane, Firmino etc.
comment in response to post
Yeah this has been the worst of the performances under Amorim so far, very disinterested feeling players. Can't really make any judgment after 5 or so games. Way too small a sample size for any long term forecasting analysis.
comment in response to post
I mean no one is gonna say otherwise. United had like 3 shots in the half with 70 something possession. But structure and individual defending wise Plzen have looked excellent.
comment in response to post
Plzen have been very good as well particularly in defense. Not hard to see why they have been undefeated so far in Europa league this season.

It would almost be funny if it wasn't so sad to see Ratcliffe tying himself in knots trying not to say: 'I don't give a damn about the Women's team'

It just can't be worse than Morbius and Madame Web. I refuse to believe that is humanly possible.

#Pritam doing Pritam things.
comment in response to post
Super fun, but I'm pretty sure it's not good. Definitely doesn't achieve the control that Amorim has talked about a lot since taking the job.

Austin and Vegas have been brilliant so far, I hope both those tracks remain a fixture on the calendar for decades.

Yup, I am now resigned to the fact that Pasta is simply meant to be tasty not nutritious. No more whole wheat or similar experiments.

You have, you just don't know it yet.

Yeah, I just watch first thing next morning during DST period.

Not dropping Pope after he actually scored some runs.

Decided to sell Mbuemo instead of Bruno to fund Saka. Either way had to downgrade Isak so the money turned out to be perfect for Evanilson which I'm pretty happy with.
comment in response to post
Mbeumo on current form and Brentford's poor away record but it feels wrong.

I have been using YT premium for 2 years now and the best part of its algorithm is that you end up discovering a lot of new songs which you end up liking and they become part of your rotation.
comment in response to post
Greater final moments but honestly how did Palace not win that match? Newcastle literally had 1 shot whole match, looked bereft of box presence without Isak. Got to start winning performances like this soon.

Switched to Premier Sports as soon as I knew they were the 2 commentating. Easily among the top 5 most annoying commentators ever alongside Garry Birtles, another one who commentates on United's Europa league matches.

www.espn.in/football/sto... Dale also concurs that Maatsen was incredibly lucky not to be sent off for this according to the DOGSO rules.

Tbf in a years time, their aging squad will all together be an year older while England will hopefully have Archer and Wood available.

He is part owner of Ipswich now and has been sponsoring them for like 3 years already. Boyhood fan.

Will Amorim's Army take 2-step towards the UCL places today.
comment in response to post
Casemiro, Eriksen and Evans seem stuck in molasses. Can't wait for return of Mainoo, Ugarte and Licha.
comment in response to post
Agreed with you wholeheartedly. But being a Man United fan, I'd rather Arsenal, Chelsea, Man CIty and Liverpool be the team that drop from the spotlight to be replaced by sleeping giants instead😅
comment in response to post
True, but Gvardiol had already started covering that pass and Son thought if he gets this pass to Solanke right, it would be a huge scoring chance.
comment in response to post
Timber was brilliant today! He will be more than adequate replacement until White's out.
comment in response to post
City's kryptonite, no matter who is the manager. Son just seems like the perfect player to have in your team if you want to beat City.
comment in response to post
He was cooking, but only the usual stuff.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I also feel Sarr would have got a shot away.
comment in response to post
They have been brilliant everytime I've watched them lol. Like vs Newcastle and City.
comment in response to post
Guessing it was because Sarr is just about to shoot as he is so close to the box.
