It's just the not knowing that's so disheartening I think. If only I had something to go on, I'd know what I need to do to be "good enough" next time. I'm a capable individual, and I know this, but this whole process sure as hell doesn't make me feel like it.

Thanks for the tip James! I've applied for one agency, but maybe I would be better off lessening my focus on individual job applications, which are dispiriting to say the least, and focusing more on agencies.
