The amount of stress, financial insecurity, fear, & heartbreak this has caused amongst federal employees can't be overstated. & it was all intentional. To now walk it back, AFTER the mass firings, realizing it was illegal, just shows how unintelligent & unplanned the orders were in the 1st place.
