In the mean time, Americans that had contracts with the government under legislation-approved spending are at risk of losing family farms etc due to his actions. The law may sort it out, but it’ll likely be too late for many. Especially since he seems unwilling to obey court orders

If these were just audits, maybe I’d agree. The executive stopping payments authorized by congress is not ok. Just do it the right way, that’s all I ask. The legislature has the power of the purse. The executive can’t not spend what congress said to spend.

One of my pet peeves with announcers is constantly saying “the football”. Just call it “the ball”, adding the specificity implies you (or someone) thinks there may also be another type of ball in use…or you think the extra syllable makes you sound smarter.

I finally learned a way to make them easy to peal every time. Don’t start them cold. Let the water boil, add the eggs (I use one of those collapsible steamer things), reduce heat a tad, wait 12-13min, put in ice bath for 5min, flawlessly peeling eggs
