If you really want to, I'd say go for it, even if you don't remember stuff. When starting vol 13, I ended up remembering stuff (at least the important stuff) the more I read
As an alternative, maybe you can check those appendixes at the end of the volumes. Taking your time is also fine tho

Yeah, but the novel is way too good. Vol 13 ended on an insane cliffhanger, and I just couldn't wait for the translations in June 😭

There are a few pages where I understand over 90% of what I'm reading, but whenever Tanya starts talking about military strategies, economic systems, government bureaucracy, and philosophical stuff, I become extremely lost
It's fun though. It's frustrating and I'm struggling, but it's fun

The yuri stuff only becomes really obvious in the last chapter of volume 3. Until then, the novel is mainly about internet ghost stories, mystery and action
I'd recommend checking out volume 1. Out of the first 3 volumes, vol 1 is the best imo. If you don't like it, the future volumes will tough

There are probably better ways to translate this. Like, that whole paragraph was hard, even though the JP wasn't, because it ended up having many clauses in English. I added that "but" to make it flow better, but yeah. There should be better ways to convey that excerpt

It'd probably be written as 颭 (sway in the wind). I didn't know the word "soyogu" so yeah, that's why I wasn't able to figure it out then. Apparently, it's more often written with the kanji for battle (戦ぐ / そよぐ) but I don't think that fits Soyogi so it's probably 颭 (never seen this kanji before tbh)
