Today I had my first consultation to start HRT. I went in nervous, but it went really well and I’ll get to start soon. Later today I learned that my government is now defining the same medication I’ve dreamed about getting for years as chemical mutilation for people only 3 years younger than me.

Trump’s anti-trans Executive Order is bad BUT it technically defines everyone as female. It states: “'Female' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell." Since all fetuses "at conception" are female, Trump just defined EVERYONE as female.
