lol why is it that these kinds of dream tunes are the ones that stick? The most accurate dream music reproduction I made was some kind of elevator jam that played when a demon was shaking his maracas at me (no euphemism).

This folktale features three thirsty friends who can’t decide how to use their ox, cow, or wagon to get water. The king turns to a wise woman to solve the problem, and in the end, they all lose because no one was willing to risk anything to retrieve the water.

Oh cool, so it's more of a stylistic element in this case! I was wondering if this was your approach for 'regular' pixel art.

wait, do you usually create pixel art from a manual rough? I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone do this. Super interesting.

Oh and if you're going through the classics, I had a surprising amount of fun with Paradise Lost once I got past Milton's grumpy stoicism. There are some relatively cheap editions with Doré's beautiful illustrations.

Midsummer Night, Tempest, Much Ado, and Macbeth if I'm going by how much I enjoyed reading them. Hamlet, Lear, and Othello together with Macbeth is probably the more common starter set though if you already read Romeo & Juliet.

This has been quoted to death but it's really hard not to come back to it when more and more people start to put their trust into the judgment of LLMs rather than other people and ultimately, themselves.

Gentrification. Personal websites, forums, news groups and the like were replaced by homogenized commercial products. Facebook and MySpace in particular. Basically single households razed for condominiums with shitty landlords.

Nobody can tell if reality is even real, gravity is just a theory, I'm very smart.

Feb. 18, 2025 Residents of Kentucky and other flooded areas are thankful for the aid of FEMA, which is no longer an evil organization after it has been purified by having its funds cut.
