I mean I struggle with audiobooks because of focus/processing issues - same as podcasts - but I would never describe them as 'lazy', that's just such an unnecessarily elitist view of books & reading! Daft.

I genuinely think that distributors / streamers who do subtitles this poorly are deserving of some manner of legal action.

I hadn't ever thought about this before but I love the idea of Juggernaut / Kid Juggernaut's height correlating with their current momentum

Hotly anticipated debut of "Uncanny X-Pets": just one panel of Rogue feeding some sea monkeys, which are never shown or mentioned again

'impaled' isn't exaggerating btw - genuinely had to pull myself off of the railing and our neighbour (a nurse) take me to A&E where they put local anaesthetic in the railing hole (gross) and long-stapled it closed.
missed anything important by centimetres though so still count myself lucky

I am steadfastly analogue in my public transport navigation (possibly a symptom of my having a geriatric mobile phone that won't let me update or install any more apps) but I accept that I am a luddite outlier

I think there's legs to that last point - my partner and I binned off an actual telly about three years ago and got a projector that only comes out to capital-W *Watch* something. It makes watching these big premium tv shows more of an event.

Loved SSX3. Extremely fond memories of dropping out of the helicopter in the "free mountain" mode and being made fully serene by rolling waves of Royksöpp
