Today marks the publication of my father's final paper. Though he passed away two years ago, his collaborator carried the work forward and ensured it got finished. Although this level of physics is beyond my understanding, I’m truly happy to see this work come to fruition. arxiv.org/abs/2412.19666

MRI scans of your back do not diagnose your pain on their own, and are only sometimes useful for clinicians to confirm clinical findings. In fact often outcomes tend to be better for people who do not have scans done, because you will almost certainly find something and get scared.
