Yes, it was vandalised in Feb 2023 but repaired in May 2023 by staff from the Lowther Estates. keswickreminder.co.uk/2023/05/26/t...

... and, finally, 125 for Northern Ireland. Sadly we can't yet deep link to individual gauging stations but we can show their locations and give users a link to a map on another site where they can.

And, to add to this, we've increased our totals from 348 to 374 in Scotland, and 200 to 276 in Wales and we've also found 444 gauging stations in Ireland so they're now added for the first time. Just Northern Ireland to do now.

We also have a page linking to all the webcams we know about in the #LakeDistrict so you really can see the weather *now* at various locations, often live video. See www.walklakes.co.uk/webcams.html

It's a shame, it was a good looking trig point. Hopefully it's been restored. We'll have to add it to the list of places to re-visit and take a look.

Yup, it's a Wainwright. See this page for map and more details. www.walklakes.co.uk/hill_2374.html

Here's the sad follow up to the story of this #LakeDistrict #TrigPoint. We visited it again in 2015 and someone had pushed it sideways. Curiously it was still, sort of, upright. We've not been up Crag Hill in a long time. Does anyone know if it has been restored? www.walklakes.co.uk/photo/3047
