Crisis for who though? Multinationals that make all the money? It's not like AB is rolling in royalties they give away. Smith would have to want to nationalize resources so all Canadian benefit but can't b/c that would ruin separation which Cdn's are not going to pay for 🤦. It's nuts 👀

It’s a nothingburger as it’s happened at liberal conventions too. This prank has been ongoing for decades. But the CBC must have forgot they did this in 2014 www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

waterloo engineering ring is stainless steel
comment in response to post
Nice! I think eng ring is more lug sided rather than smooth, but I'm happy professional architects have it as well. I'm actually interested in going back to school (again) and this time for Architectural Engineering a mix of the two. (I want buildings to be self powered and other tall tales)

Renewable energy is available to everyone if you actually build it. As green energy goes online AB/SK's significance will continue to evaporate, until all renewable energy moratoriums are removed. Must have reciprocal renewable investment otherwise pipeline are just white elephants

Mark Carney was at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on March 14th being sworn in as a new PM though. Wearing a darker suit with a tie.

It's like I'm watching a protest or a play where the participants are showing what it would be like under 1984, but alas they really are. I'm just an average person but it would seem the education I received prepared me well. Sad to see missing in so many

Literally "The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. --George Orwell" That's where they are huh? It's a good thing we or at least many of us, had an education before the Cons ruined it for the generations after. Pity them

Turn it off, the winning move is not to play. Read/Watch some docs on the ripping yarns of Manufacturing Consent, Merchants of Doubt. I'm adding voting methods but you don't have to! Learn how you're manipulated and breakdown who the players are, all of them. MC was in World Issues OAC before Harris

just don't ride when the Lordship of Ontario, esteemed ruler of the vast and untamed wilderness that is the Greater Toronto Area and master of these lands from Etobicoke to Queen's Park bravely navigates the treacherous lanes of commerce if he's not otherwise on vacation. All hail NDP vote splitting

No, he won with 19.5% of registered vote, so it's not numbers. You'd have to get NDP to stop vote splitting. They just don't wanna. None of ON leaders called for coalition thus Ford won. We see this nationally, CPC need strong NDP to win & beat LIB. Thankfully w/ NDP collapse no PP gov't predicted

in Japan you have to show you have a parking spot that obviously fully contains the vehicle signed off by the police who measure off your property before you can own a car. Even the building designs in Japan can't hold American personnel carriers. It would be immediately illegal.

Ford doesn't know how bikelanes work, why would he know highways? Why is he directly in charge of all roads? Can he walk into an operation and call out the doctor too? Where and in what capacity is the Lordo of Ontario restrained? Please thank NDP everyday for splitting the vote🤦‍♂️

I'm just not understanding how broken one has to be to be a Conservative supporter or acquiesce for life to the Alberta Taliban
comment in response to post
you, the NDP, and the LIB had a chance to form a coalition and prevent Ford from winning his 3rd term but refused to do so. I'm sorry but this means you Marit and Bonnie all need to resign

UK well placed to help Carney's new global trade order but C won't be waiting while UK dithers with the USA. Carney answered the call for BoC, answered the call for BoE, answered the call for the UN. The world will be returning Carney's calls. No going back, no more being sidelined, that'll be new!

also the FPTP will be able to focus on LIB vs CON and not split the vote anymore. As there are more progressives than hate mongers this could result in a long reign of Liberal governments based in part w/ their progressive NDP appeal. Cons will need NDP to split the vote to win again
comment in response to post
during LIB transition, Singh unable to out poll an empty chair should have been a clue. Both he & Poilievre are foes of Trudeau, w/o him neither are needed. Greater call was to step down & also have a leadership race. Ironically w/ NDP wiped out, LIB MPs will be asked for more progressive policies

I also took the word slide as a regression of a goal not continued success in reducing emissions. Yet article indicates emissions fell sharply and about their rapid decline. Would recommend to delete this thread, make a title change, and then post to bluesky again. Would increase reposts. Cheers

My #CBC would include a return to independent, non biased reporting of the news, by trusted journalists, not opinionated shrills. I’m already a huge fan of #CBCGem and #Radio2 Canada needs our CBC!
