I was a small part of the project to acquire this sweet new bike lane sweeper through Liveable Kirkland. This baby hooks up to a standard Burley hitch and can both pick up and also push aside debris. I'm looking forward to taking it for a spin and helping clear some of our local bike lanes! 🚴🧹 ✨

41 bikes on this ferry, compared to the 202 motor vehicle capacity. Meanwhile 2500 people can fit on the M/V Puyallup serving Bainbridge Island and Seattle. Bike and pedestrian infrastructure are about space and efficiency that cars, no matter their propulsion fuel, can achieve.

Got my kid a Tin Can phone and she LOVES it. Really cool project started by a West Seattle dad (and family biker!). It’s basically a VOIP phone that can only call/receive from pre-approved numbers or other Tin Can kids. Uses any old touch tone phone. I think this idea’s a winner. tincan.kids

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need to replace the "Artificial Intelligence" moniker with "Simulated Intelligence". I feel like we aren't anywhere near real AI. Real AI would be able to incorporate new clock times on the energy of a few Snickers bars.
