When given the choice between fascism and fascism lite, people are not very enthusiastic about voting for fascism lite

he could not have passed an amendment. He would need a majority in 3/4ths of state legislatures and a supermajority of both houses. Especially since this amendment was only really become an issue in the past like year and he lost control of the house in 2022

All 3rd party votes could be given to harris and she would still lose. Run a better candidate in the future and you’ll win

Me when I’m the least classist establishment democrat (I’m calling for the death of poor people because they fall victim to right wing populist rhetoric)

Yeah. They have nearly unfettered control of the media and use that to manufacture consent. They get voters who support more left wing policies to vote against them by fear mongering and distracting from important issues with stupid culture war shit. They do this everywhere though.

If you want to win elections when people are unhappy, you shouldn’t run as the other party but slightly more moderate. You should run as a party that wants to change things for the better. The status quo that liberals love is not good for most people. Corporate dems are not popular

Or we could actually appeal to voters and like give them more benefits instead of giving billions to a genocidal state. Voters like leftist policy. They don’t like campaigning with a fascist like Liz Cheney and saying that you won’t change shit when the cost of living has skyrocketed.

Yeah. Being state chair doesn’t make you good at it, but not having experience almost assures you will be bad at it

Liberals lose 2 elections to a fascist and instead of changing strategy to prevent that in the future they decide to just blame foreign interference and not change anything. Do you just want to lose? Like if I was a republican I would spread this rhetoric
comment in response to

A state party chair is the only good choice. Buttigieg has 0 experience, he would be terrible at it. Running him somewhere is, strategically, way better because he’s charismatic and young. DNC chair is basically a completely different career. Way more a strategist than a politician

You know Liz Cheney was one of the most conservative members of the house, right? Her not liking trump doesn’t absolve her of being a fascist bootlicker

I get that text is a terrible medium for tonal clarity but there’s a point where you should at least be able to hedge that it’s probably a joke and replying will make you look dumb

I feel like there has to be a resist libs feed that someone has made and that’s what the bad posts tab would be
comment in response to

Resist libs when you have fun. If they had full control of this site it would be illegal to post something that couldn’t be summarized as “trump bad”

An ideal education system would identify people who are stupid but highly ambitious and channel them into fields where they can do the least harm

Bad take. The senate is an archaic institution and the dress code reinforces the separation from the people that its undemocratic nature creates. Government should not be this high class institution. It should be subservient to the people and should represent them, especially the proletariat.

It was presumptive of me to assume you were a native english speaker and looking at your name would’ve told me you were German so I’m sorry for calling you stupid.

Dems are so boring ideologically and like center right. They need to change something ideologically to not keep losing support. I don’t think I’ve met any enthusiastic democrats that weren’t middle-upper class white people.

WW2 started in 1939. This was after jews had started fleeing. It’s not that he wasn’t obviously evil. It’s that being person of the year is not necessarily a good thing. It’s a recognition of influence, not morality.

It’s literally 🥺ing. When did they make the sandbag a bottom???????
comment in response to

The president-elect winning is very normal. Being the person of the year is not necessarily positive. Hitler was the person of the year in 1938. Time magazine was, to my knowledge, not pro Hitler in 1938.

No. They should be rehabilitated in some way but they shouldn’t lose the right to hold office
comment in response to
post
Did I say it was? No. I said allowing people who have been charged with crimes to still hold office is necessary to protect people from political persecution. The justice system is not infallible. Not everyone charged with a crime actually committed it.
comment in response to

Yeah it’s bad but it’s necessary to protect other people from political persecution.
comment in response to

People who have committed crimes should not be excluded from holding office. Legality ≠ morality

The woke left thing was something called a “joke”. They were making fun of how conservatives use that terminology.

These are meaningless this close to the election. In 2016 these all said Hillary Clinton was leading. It’s just name recognition at this point.

You voted for a rapist. Women, believe it or not, are usually uncomfortable around documented rapists. In the future, let’s take the moral high ground when we actually have it, ok?
