Leader Jeffries, you have been a hero to Democrats and the nation. We need you now to put on your cape, summon all of your significant creativity, and rise to meet this moment.

Thanks for the posting. BTW: the image atop your user page features the Hollar “Long View” drawing of the Hope (the bear-baiting house) which is mislabeled as the Globe. The actual (second) Globe is the playhouse that appears in partial view immediately above your personal image. DM to discuss?

What are your thoughts about Assoc. Deputy AG Emil Bove’s quid-pro-quo demand to have your old office drop the Eric Adams case, and Interim USA Sassoon’s response to Pam Bondi, and subsequent resignation? — Don in Berkeley, a listener since the very first episode of Stay Tuned.

Isabel Wilkerson addresses this topic in her wonderful book, Caste: The origins of our Discontents. Here’s an Atlantic article discussing James Whitman’s book on the subject, Hitler's American Model: The United States and the Making of Nazi Race Law. www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

Waj, until last season, the Lions had won a grand total of ONE playoff game in my entire lifetime, and I’m getting to be an old man.

Native Detroiter here. It’s hard to find an article or a post that mentions “Lions fans,” and doesn’t also include a version of the word “suffer.”

With first thoughts to our suffering SoCal compatriots, isn’t it nice though, that we have a place to live with such extraordinary natural beauty and such (mostly) wonderful people, where Mango Mussolini and his team would never think to live? They can have their wrath; we have California.

As always, only selectively original-practices, but a lot of fun. Mark, as usual, was wonderful. His o.p. Cleopatra was terrific too. Maybe his best all-male was his Richard III, in which he said, “give out / That Anne, my queen, is sick and like to die” with her sitting right next to him.

I believe the latter is the spelling in apposition to “police officer.”

Publication congratulations Adam. In re: Ranciére, is there such a thing as an overripe mind?
