As well as overall feelings of hopelessness that caused low voter turn out on the left that prevents many of us from organizing. However, there has been organizing (a group of black people defended their neighborhood against neo nazis). We just need people to break away from complacency and act.

I wouldn't say its wishful, it has happened. But yes its very dangerous to play the waiting game.
The problem with the left is that the values that cause MAGA to act violent are the exact opposite of theirs. It's been drilled into us to be quiet and not fight and things will get better. 1/2

Unfortunately, we are still in the FA stage of FAFO. Conservatives are still under the illusion that the orange and the rat are helping them.
It'll take them being screwed over personally (probably later this year w/ how things are going) for any violence to happen.
