The rich make the laws we need to take our power back from the rich. They're the reason we pay so much for health insurance. They're the reason we have such a fucked school system. Basically if it's bad it's probably because of the one percent lobbying it to be that way. Power to the people.

This is how the jaws of fascism close. First Musk told everyone to ignore the government—at least any component that was Democratic, or a Republican he disliked. Then he said ignore all professional journalists. Now he says ignore most citizen journalists, too. He and his crew are all that’s left.

Trump wants to cut the corporate tax rate to 15%. This would give... -The 5 largest banks a $4.1B tax cut -The 5 largest drug makers a $3.1B tax cut -The 5 largest US oil companies a $2.5B tax cut -The 5 largest grocery stores a $1.7B tax cut Some populist, huh?

Only bitches wear coats to their inauguration.

The biggest political divide in America isn't "left" versus "right." It's the American people versus the oligarchy.

We should call lobbying what it is a fucking bribe. Call a bribe a bribe you're not clever for calling it lobbying.

The american school system is fucked we should be paying teachers more and encouraging kids to engage because they won't learn otherwise.

Can't wait for trump to try and take credit for Biden's cease fire. I will be using this specific post in four years to prove him and maga wrong lol.

If Trump is trying to take credit for the ceasefire deal before he’s president then maybe he should be responsible for the wild fires too?

It feels like a gut punch how fucking expensive college is.

In every other developed country people aren't worried about getting into a medical emergency for the same reason we are.

If the electoral college didn't fucking exist we wouldn't have to deal with trump now. The last time the Republicans won the popular vote was in 1988 with George Bush. Every time after. It used to be the norm to win both. We need to get rid of the electoral college.

I know a lot of people are upset with him for a number of understandable reasons, but the simple fact is that history is—broadly speaking—going to remember him kindly. There is just no getting around that.

Random thought: State run television channel that explains new legislation in a way that the average American can understand. Including but not limited to how it would affect them as an individual who it benefits with research backing it up and why it is truly needed.

Random thought: Underground cities. This could do a lot for us as people we could leave the surface for agriculture and parks and live underground which would cut down on carbon emissions due to everything being closer together. We would all be closer as people we'd all feel a little less alone.

Do you want to know what "radicalized" me? In 2020 me and my mother were walking home from getting doughnuts and coffee. On the way home we stopped and ate some of the snacks we got and talked about school and the possibility of it not opening when out of no where a man comes from behind a set of

Instead of giving teachers guns we could just put basic sense gun laws into play.

Capitalism is destined to fail it requires infinite resources on a finite planet.

"Our poorest citizens, our farmers, live ration to ration As Wall Street robs 'em blind in search of chips to cash in"

Pleading hasn't worked. Petitioning hasn't worked. Protesting hasn't worked. Let's face it violence does work. As people we don't resort to violence it has taken years of them denying our claims and causing unnecessary trauma and death. Luigi was done and the rest of America is soon to follow.

The United States could stand to not put one out of two dollars into the military.

I will never pledge my undying allegiance to a fucking flag that's some dictator shit.

Instead of just paying their dues insurance companies have resorted to paying for more security...
