The NZ govt must continue to stand with Ukraine. The values they are fighting for are Kiwis values. We should continue to do all we can to support them. Time for our govt to speak up!

I had porridge with egg whites mixed in it (which made the porridge lighter and fluffier) to see if that will actually keep me full. The porridge was delicious — the recipe had you cook the oats with banana and cinnamon so the banana kinda melted through the oats 😋

Ngā mihi nui to everyone who came to my confirmation event today. It was a lovely space to have such rich kōrero. First milestone of my PhD journey has been passed! 🥳

I caught a few people staring at my chest today and at first I thought it was because I’m wearing a ribbed Henley — the sluttiest of t-shirts. But I think it was probably my lanyard of many things that had caught their eye.

We don’t support giving govt 4yr term - we already get screwed in 3 yr term imagine no tiriti protection for 4yrs! It gives the elected more power than the voters, do better not longer.

My workmate just said that James Cameron's vision for Wellington is replacing the Wellington sign near the airport with a sign written in papyrus font and now I am dying.

I want to talk about Pihema Cameron, the 15-year-old kid chased and killed by Bruce Emery in 2008 in Auckland. Every "law and order" "tough on crime" commentator and politician of the day FELL OVER THEMSELVES to make excuses for Emery. "He was frustrated". "Defending his home" etc

Cool, just “timed” my reading for Friday but forgot to put the timer on 😣

Whiti brings the bright I bring the Wellington.

I had brunch with @pipadam.bsky.social today.

I’ve signed this petition — those “lunches” are appalling.

Manager: "What's this milestone 'Living on a prayer' ?" Me: "That's the documentation deliverable." Manager: "What's the status of that?" Me: "We're halfway there" Manager: "Why is progress so slow?" Me: "You fired Tommy" Manager: "So?" Me: "Tommy used to work on the docs"

Let me know by tomorrow if you’d like to attend my confirmation event!

Ah, to feel as invincible as people riding on motorcycles in shorts and jandals.

Truly one of the greatest literary works of our time

"Public Service Minister Judith Collins said “unions are very clearly wanting to take on the government and the New Zealand taxpayers”. Ummm, union members ARE tax payers. In fact, since union members get paid a little better, they're paying MORE tax. And people on PAYE prob pay more than business

The skirt I’m wearing today is quite floaty so a good number of the populace of Wellington shall see me knickers on my walk home. YOU’RE WELCOME PŌNEKE.

Herman Melville's "Moby Dick" has perhaps the most memorable opening line in all of Western literature: "I hope you motherfuckers like reading about whales"

Picking it up again. The winds blew me off course for a bit. ❤️ @whitihereaka.co.nz

Those motherfucking motherfuckers! #NZPol

I’ve signed this petition — this one will have more impact (in Parliament) than the others. Please consider signing it.

While everything else is going on, let's not forget ACT harboured a sexual abuser
