its not surprising.. getting onto medical degrees involves planning to do so from before your GCSE's and having no life disruptions during that time. that takes stability and knowledge that working class people just don't have access too.

This matters because if what you are trying to warn people about is a religious juggernaut that will crush them- that's not what we learn from the witch panics. We learn that it's your gross neighbours who will sell you out because they owe you money or you make them feel bad.

ive missed buses because ive been stood trying to cross the road to the bus stop for 15 mins because the traffic is bad. soul destroying after a 10 hour manual shift. then of course the bus takes twice as long when im on it due to car traffic. i curse cars the entire time.

At my desk before 8.40am. This is the first time my bus has arrived on time at its final destination in 6 weeks. School traffic is a self-feeding “do it to Julia” problem - car drivers stop public transport working then say “well i have to drive because public transport doesn’t work”

Routine medical evidence would be devastating for lots of non physical disabilities - it's very hard to keep up with medical appointments if you are disabled and often the healthcare system doesn't have anything they can do for you. How do you prove that you've rotted inside for 3 years?

They look up to people like you and it would be good if they could get some proper advice / understanding before chucking the small amount of money they have into these schemes.

Not quite historic, but I'm from Buxton which is a tourist town, literally since the Romans were here. The local county council is currently trying to close our local museum down (the library too). That's two free-to-use and well loved spaces in an increasingly gentrified and divided town.

That's great, Zack! Animal Welfare standards are dire. Apart from the horrendous cruelty, this is a big driver of #BirdFlu, which the US has allowed to run out of control on 🐄 & 🐖 megafarms.
