While there is a lower class, I am in it, while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

What is the consequence of just not having ICE? Like, if we just stop deporting people or investigating their status, what exactly happens? Isn’t a lot of this better off being delegated to DEA and… whatever we have to investigate wage theft? We don’t have anyone on that, do we?

Has a lot to do with expectations and 3s open world. NV is loved by diehard fans who want more depth and 3 is a more passive experience, harder to bounce off of.

The deportation of anyone to a foreign prison is unacceptable, period. It is one thing to send someone to another country, I’ve always been disgusted by our deportation rates, but it is horrifying to know that we are sending them to a concentration camp on top of that. How did we get here?!

Imagine if the US had a robust transportation infrastructure, we would be able to do so much internal trade and be more self-sufficient with inter-sector production, but no, semi-trucks. Thats our model.

Wait, so the positive spin is “look, foreign investors are buying up American capital! Now we are completely independent of the global economy?” No man, trade is hurting for the US and investors are looking at other countries who are more likely to beef up. We stepped down. There is no recovery

Its kinda hilarious how the stock market is presented like a game, but in times like these where there is a way to capitalize, you need money to buy the dip and I don’t have any money because I don’t have more than a couple hundred bucks of disposable income. Not a skill issue, the game is broken

Hey, I campaigned door to door in my hometown and my college town for Harris, I worked the tent to get people registered. I’m not self-destructive. When it’s election season I am fighting like my life depends on it, but we lost HARD. Gotta change things up

They are the party of status quo, conservatives ever since Reagan. Republican party is regressive. Thats why this relationship has felt so one-sided for such a long time, they got used to sitting on their asses while the other guys cooked up a coup. We need someone else to put up a fight

Is it bad that I’m slowly starting to feel “states rights” on the tip of my tongue? I just hope theres enough reasonable people in the chain of command to take a stand… and now I’m thinking about the Nazis again

Understandable, these are trying times even in good health. Take it easy, it isn’t going anywhere, unfortunately. Stay warm and stay dry!

I once heard some hardcore Bernie bros respond to criticism by saying: “the second he would’ve taken office we would be screaming our heads off, pushing him around, up until the day he leaves.” I wanted to test their theory… never got the chance

A power-hungry rapist justifies his actions by telling himself that everyone else is also “breaking the rules,” he just does it better. He can’t fathom the idea that there are people that don’t create victims everywhere they go. So he assumes they do. Or at least tells that to everyone else.

I have to have watched someone else play a game for enough hours before I choose to buy, so that way by the time I boot it up I already know 90% of the content

The relationship between farmers, undocumented labor, and right-wing criminalization of immigrants is ugly. With the midwest operations I worked at, owners were of the attitude: “I hope I die before climate change gets too bad or I lose my under-the-table regulars”

This is a comparison of maternal mortality causes from 2019, in 36 states. Important to note that a massive amount of deaths occur either in the year following delivery or due to postpartum depression/PTSD. New mothers are also more likely to incur medical debt than women without children.

National scandals don’t happen on cable news anymore, I’m afraid. Imo, you have a platform to talk about stuff like this and that means you could fill that gap just a little bit. Thanks for the heads up btw, omw to read up

Im kinda curious to find out what exactly happened. Last night the service status told me “yeah we are all good here” and I assumed it was my LAN after screwing around in my DNS. Now that I know a wire got crossed… well lets just say I want to know who to blame

This looks a little different from the typical pork cutlet and rice…would you happen to know the name of this restaurant or the details of the dish?

I got back to my dorm last night around 6pm EST, wanted to download an old Battlefield from the Critic’s Choice sale. Thirty minutes later and I’m certain it’s my LAN after some scrolling through old Reddit posts. Woke up at 6am for work and now I feel both vindicated and horrified. US btw
