Yeah, I don't know which would get under his orange skin more.

Since there is no protest in DC for No Kings Day the next best thing would be for everyone to attend but stand in silence and turn their back on the parade. No signs or clothing to make you a target. Just silence facing away.
#nokingsday, #peacefulprotest

You know they're just doing this to build a case against the Biden admin for continued dictator shit, right? This is why we're losing faith in the dems. We all know this playing stupid by MAGA is part of the guise to keep their base rabid, right?

It will never happen. The folks on the hill are all friends and most of what you see on TV of them arguing is theatre. There might be a couple of exceptions but for the most part they're all in it together.

I became a fan when When Problems Arise came out and a huge fan when I saw you do Party at Ground Zero on one of the 80s talk shows. I was always gigging when you were so didn't get to see you live until a couple years ago at Wichita Riverfest. I hope to get to see you again!

@briantylercohen.bsky.social While he is not smart, he knew those letters were photoshopped in the photo. He's protecting his lie. He lies like this to keep his base fooled into loyalty and to keep his corruption going, not to try to convince anyone else that the photo is real.

I have to disagree with you, partially. He calls Trump demented and says "seeming bizarrely to believe", indicating that Trump doesn't know it's a lie, that instead Trump believes it to be a real tattoo.

@mehdirhasan.bsky.social you're smarter than this and have been covering him long enough to know that he was protecting his lie. He's not confused, he knows it's fake, he's lying and thinks he is getting away with it.

I'm hearing there's a plan to have Trump run as VP to someone, that someone resigns and that puts Trump back in as President. Technically, he elected to that position. I'm not sure if this is a loophole or not. Any lawyers able to speak to that?
comment in response to

@briantylercohen.bsky.social @booker.senate.gov voted to confirm 4 of Trump picks including Ratcliffe and Bessent. That alone should disqualify him from his job, let alone any presidential run.

It's only incompetence if it's not intentional. This is market manipulation, plain and simple.

He didn't loose his nerve, this is and has been about market manipulation to enrich himself and his donors. And, he'll burn whatever he has to in the process.

I don't have a problem with a pardon for someone wrongly accused, but it should not be allowed for anyone properly convicted or that confesses to their crime.

Tired of the lost hope Schumer and his ilk have in any republican, house or senate. They are siding with Trump on everything and will continue to do so, they've proven it repeatedly.
Schumer has to go.

Since you can't seem to lead, let's try this - each dem member should be assigned a topic and should report on it every day. Example:
AOC takes DOGE
Crocket takes DOJ
Warren takes DOE
etc.
Tell us daily when something changes, why it's bad and how you are going to address it NOW, not in four years.

I hope you sold a lot of fucking books while we're here trying to figure out how to save our democracy.
Vote @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social out.

Agreed. Like I said, I'm not siding with him. I was trying to explain why there was a 5 day requirement to those that might not be required to provide status updates.
comment in response to

Honestly, and I'm not siding with him, this is common in software development. Many companies have a daily stand up where everyone give an update on their project.

It's not just fed workers losing jobs. I lost mine two weeks ago due to "the volatility of the new administration".

@briantylercohen.bsky.social You need to start reading the comments. We're done with Jeffries. He stood in front of the world and said the dems have no power. He's lost and ineffective. If you want us to listen to you, you need to listen to us.

@juddlegum.bsky.social He says "any law". I think he means beyond US borders. He's stating he can invade Greenland and Canada and not face any consequences.

@briantylercohen.bsky.social Sorta fake outrage on your part, isn't it? We all know that FOX will spin it to deflect from Trump.

Ms. Crockett, you're one of the few I trust in our gov. Please quit wasting time with things we already know and find a way to physically remove Musk et al from the government.

There are reports that he was here illegally before he got his citizenship. That's the difference, here.
We're tired of playing nice.

It is what they wanted. Unfortunately I have family members cheering Musk on.

Where was your conscience when you voted to APPROVE Collins? You stabbed us in the back. Time to vote Bernie out.

Here are the Democrats who voted to approve Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent- the person responsible for allowing Musk access to the US Treasury

All they did was move their presser to a new location. They went to the office and did nothing, all for for a photo-op.
The dems want Trump in there.

It's time for Jeffries to go. He just wants to stand in front of a mic. He's up for reelection in two years, time to replace him with someone who will take action.

This did not age well. I need to quit thinking there is any good on the right.

Yeah, that's why I said I wasn't sure about Kaine. Bernie isn't saying he would vote in favor of anything but a CC policy he would agree with. He would never blindly vote in favor of anything Trump related.
comment in response to

There's no way Sanders ever joins team Trump. It's highly doubtful Kaine would. Trump doesn't have the numbers.

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social You obviously have never been in a street fight. Now is not the time for the high road. Until you become part of the solution, you are part of the problem and "daily reminders" is tired. You're up for reelection in two years. Act like you want to keep your job.

Enough with the talking and take action. Open an investigation into this tragedy and subpoena Trump, Musk, and the others. I know nothing will come of it, but at least start the momentum on action. Show us that you are going to do something.
