Can we ask/demand our MP’s reach out to us, their constituents to explain their understanding of the new US administration’s position on global security affairs? What’s Parliament doing to support them respectively to ensure the public can make critical decisions/take precautions in our own lives?

Lovely style & palette. Easy on the eye. Watercolour or oils?

This could easily be a work in oil or chalk pastels or oil paints! Lovely marks and palette.

Hi Richard Two things struck me when reading the paper’s executive summary 1. It appears to include inshore waters not limited to tidal 2. I’m not used to reading references to *bylaws in such papers where primary legislation and ministerial oversight is concerned I wonder how *uncommon this is

Any idea when acid free archival papers became recognissd as preferable drawing surfaces?

Striking yet subtle use of chiaroscuro enhanced by the strongly tinted drawing surface. I wonder if the artist sought out suppliers of tinted pastel papers & whether they were hard to come by

The sunlight is being captured by the narcissi which are in turn radiating it out in a warm glow across the table & onto their faces. Lovely treatment of light catching glass, plates & cutlery.

E Pluribus Unum.. but who would’ve guessed the ‘one’ in this instance giving extremely valuable and useful insights into the US political system is a bright, British student from Durham University! I just want to say thank you @hansardsociety.bsky.social for another fantastic Parliament Matters pod
