George Carlin became too pessimistic and cynical for my tastes since becoming an adult, but he at least came from truth, and one being this country has some of the dumbest and most selfish motherfuckers imaginable. Nothing but apathy towards these people, I have everything else to spend energy on.

The NOAA is being gutted rapidly by the DOGE. Their data feeds regional and local sources of weather information and there is no replacement. The idea outlined in project 2025 to privatise the work this agency does has no plan and no basis in reality. The floor is being ripped out from under us.

The Trump vote is inexorable if any alternative conflicts with the values of white Christians. You're not going to dispell the decades of ignorance built on moral panics by lending a hand when they're down. As long as their values persist, they see you as poisonous to the touch.

Past cannot be perfectly traceable, future cannot be perfectly predicted. Universe is deterministic as far as we are capable of understanding without probability, or with input/outcome. Hard determinism is too much of an assumption that feels all too familiar in structure.
