I think it’s quite cool to have a locally available language that makes us think differently. There was an article in a recent um nz geographic that talked about the different emphasis. The Pike River Recovery project has a name in Te Reo Maori that back-translates as “restoring the mana of the 29”

Certainly. I had a (say) religious experience in Assisi recently when I found out that “Francis” had invented the nativity scene. It was probably more of a disillusionment, which is ultimately a good thing. I am still working through all the stuff.
