The Holocaust occurred because of a lack of empathy. Empathy is what separates healthy individuals from psychopaths. The sick feeling people experience watching Trump and Elon operate is the recognition that something is terribly wrong with them. Healthy minds perceive the danger they represent.

Bullies and name calling go hand-in-hand. But those who have been bullied know that it’s not what they call you, it’s what you answer to that matters. Our PM should refuse to communicate until he is addressed respectfully. Allowing him to call him ‘governor’ just empowers the bully.

The fact that there are 4 Supreme Court justices who are okay with the President violating Congressional authority is chilling. This is not the victory some think it is. Democratic norms would be a unanimous ruling. None of this is normal.

We need to stop using a diplomatic approach with Trump. Psychopaths don’t negotiate. They manipulate. ANY concessions they achieve empowers them to demand more. It’s the only way they know how to interact with others. That’s why it’s anti-social behaviour. The only way to win is to refuse to play.

Yes you are right. With Covid though he has some plausible deniability as the deaths were indiscriminate. My concern is a targeted extermination of selective groups of people. Immigrants, POC, minorities etc him and Elon view as the “untermenschen” or subhuman.
