none of this is read ovber so im prob losing track but yeah. niragi isnt the best written char and aib didnt tackle these problems in the best way but overall its 10x better than whatever viv did so i give it 9/10.

any more or hate him any less because of his appearance. its such a HUGE problem with those two specific chatrecyers in the aib fandom and it really bothers me that so many people excuse actions based on appearances or trauma within characters and even irl people.

either way i get red flags when someone makes deicisons on a char's morality based on looks. i think chishiya is super attractive and yap about it of course but i dont use that as the factor of how i view him and his actions. same for niragi; his actor is attractive, yes, but i dont like him

best type of fanfiction is the ones that DONT give him a redemption arc but rather rewrite him entirely. i like how they set up niragi in the show dont get me wrong but the only way you can "redeem" him is not have him commit such actions -

niragi stans do bother me alot though i feel like they use his trauma to okay his actions and thats just like not the point. that trauma may explain his actions but they dont excuse them in any way, shape, or form. his actions r his own. he had a choice - twice with usagi he chose wrong.

we dont sympathize (or at least me) with him now; maybe his past self but not now. i think its really an eye opener to a lot of people that awful people can have moments of kindness, or awful awful trauma, but their actions onto other people are their OWN actions.

this gives insight into why he is the way he is now. why he slings that gun over his shoulder, why he terrorizes and murders evben innocent people, and why he does what he does to women. its all about control and its fed by his trauma of the past

anyway to the point -- the reason why niragi is among my "holy shit peak charecter" is because the show shows us his past. hes this cute lil smol bean or whatever being bullied by these awful assholes and you just feel so depressed for him. hes so sad and pathetic you want to save him
