What's your system volume at? I keep mine at around 20% and most things are alright. Sometimes I'll push it to 25% to have some headroom.

Depends on the game. I'll trash an 8/10 AAA game if it has predatory monetization, or comes from a company with terrible business practices. At the same time I'll gas up a 6/10 indie game because someone poured hours of their life into something they love.

Right? I sunk so many hours into that game. The passion they poured into that game really shines through.

Kobos are great. They're made from recycled plastic and are made to be easily repaired. They're also not a Canadian company, so that's cool for those who care.

There shouldn't be any hair on her face. Not because that's not normal for women, but because my PC can't render that shit. The minimum requirements are too damn high, and PC parts are too damn expensive.

I think that at the start, there were people genuinely concerned about censorship in video games. Now it's all grandstanding and fake outrage. It started with Hatred back in 2015 and it's been all downhill since then. No game was ever made worse for the sake of inclusion.

A large part of the issue is the over-commodification of video games. Investors are too wary of fresh ideas, and only have profit in mind. That's why indie devs are the only ones coming up with new ideas in mind. Big companies only see Fortnite making millions from the battle pass.

He didn't go far enough. He needs to flip the meter. "How arcane saved your life" "Dandadan literally cured cancer"

All of the Persona games run really well on it. And they were designed with controllers in mind, so it's a good fit.

I too feel inspired by classic video games. They often inspire feelings of rage, like when you embarrassingly die to the goomba in 1-1, multiple times.

I hope they keep trying! By all means I hope they continue pouring money into it until they're dead. I wouldn't use their platform even if it were the best one on the market.

Offering DRM free games would be great, but come on, this is Amazon we're talking about. They'd put DRM on a toaster if they could. They've got to be the most pro-DRM company in existence.

I wish I could be more optimistic about it, but Bethesda has given us no reason to hope that they'll learn from their mistakes. We went straight from fallout 76 to starfield which is absolutely crazy. Todd Howard and the rest of the big names over there are out of touch.

I don't think I've ever considered who my games were developed by. Not once. Who cares? A good game is a good game. Imagine hating women so much you resort to inventing things to be mad about. Pathetic.

I was raised to be deeply prejudiced by my parents. What a disappointment I turned out to be.

These real life monsters are a little bit too much for me.

No thank you, I'm not in the mood for horror right now. I'll stick to fantasy literature for now.

100% normal. You'll be alright.

It's a low-stakes action comedy, so it never gets too stressful. The characters are all pretty good except for one, so it's easy to like the protagonists.

I literally couldn't put together a worse outfit if I tried. I'm crying. I hope Kendrick puts this on his next album cover.

You're asking the wrong crowd. (We're all neuro-atypical)

Thanks for this, I hadn't even considered it as an option until now. One more way to cut off my dependency on a crummy platform.

Look at something like Halo. Those are generally accepted to be good games. Going back to play them last year I was struck by how short they were. They're still good, but I'd like to get more than an afternoon out of them.

My wife and I spend up to $200 USD a week on groceries with meal planning. This includes specialty snacks for my wife who has dietary restrictions. We come in under $10k a year for food.

I buy games when they're on sale if I think they look neat. A lot of the time I'll try one and realize it's not for me, but I'll keep it anyway to support the creators. 90% of my playtime is spread across something like 5% of my library.

I understand the sentiment, but you also have to keep in mind how shoddy the datamining is. Look at the fextra wiki. It's notoriously unreliable, so even now you're still mostly blind. It's like relying on a map made by a 1600s explorer.

I'm pissed because Nvidia keeps allowing resellers to buy up all the stock, rather than making them purchasable by users. That, and the power consumption continuing to skyrocket.

No one hates Nintendo retro gamers more than Nintendo.

Now let's see the same but in the opposite direction and bring GT7 to PC!

Similarly, I wish we didn't have to sleep, but then we'd be stuck working 20 hour days or something.
