PIP exists because it's expensive being disabled. I have learned that myself since becoming disabled, eg I can't use public transport easily. My experience is not unusual for disabled people. Extra costs & inflation don't disappear because the govt decides to freeze PIP & restrict eligibility.

Interesting thread. Contact post discharge including post surgery would be useful for answering questions about the admission. I think it's helpful to the patient. Readmission is not the only important measure. Saying 'Contact your GP' generates a lot of work for GPs and general dissatisfaction.

Our society has a real problem with venerating business skills above all others. Just need to look at the US (and Man United).
