Ya think the 49ers wish they had Jamar Chase or Micah Parsons or Patrick Surtain when they faced the Chiefs in the SB. Passed on all these guys for Trey Lance.

Don’t extensions typically create cap space in the first year, or is this a Bengals thing?

Of course he’s a Russian asset. No one loves tariffs. But if your ordered to tank your country’s economy (and it’s former allies) - it’s a hell of a good way

Countries that invade or threaten the sovereignty of other nations should not attend or host Olympic Games.

Oh a talent worth #2 pick? Who other than Cam Ward do you think warrants that pick??
comment in response to

You draft a QB if the talent warrants it. Just saying “Get the QB” is a lazy take.

Ya get your QB - like the 49ers did in 2021. When they lost SB58 in OT they probably wished they drafted Jamar Chase OR Micah Parsons OR Patrick Surtain instead of Trey Lance.

The Jets & Raiders filling their starting QB spots rather than trying to move up the board tells you what they think of QBs in this draft. To simply state a team has to take a QB without evaluating the quality of QBs is absurd.
If a QB with elite traits is there then sure. Otherwise, pass.

In 2022 the 2nd best QB was Desmond Ritter.

Guessing a salary retained trade. Andrew Berry likes giving up a late trade pick for the certainty of acquiring the player and giving more flexibility in the draft.

If they do this - Canada, Europe and other countries should immediately announce a boycott of the 2028 LA Olympics

The impact on bourbon (and other aged spirits) wrt jobs might be uniquely bad for distillery workers and distributors. The producers would likely be better off scaling back production and leave the spirits they have to appreciate in the barrels. Could be big layoffs coming.

Just like that? Didn’t have to go to other teams to find out what he’s worth and report back to Howie??? 🤔

Oh yes, can’t wait to see the maneuvers from the salary cap masters in Dallas.

The American farmers are going to feel it. Fertilizer costs up 25% thanks to their government PLUS retaliatory tariffs on their goods PLUS a long lasting anti-American sentiment from consumers.

Canada and the European Union would never attend the Olympics if they were held in Russia or Belarus or North Korea. So why would they go to LA in 2028??? #Olympicboycott

At the combine they can see your arm talent against the other top tier guys. If your arm talent is so-so you wait till your pro day.

As disturbing as this may sound, as a Canadian I would prefer that America not be in NATO, in order for us to have Article 5 protection from the US.

Do the 49ers beat the Chiefs in their last Super Bowl if they draft Jamar Chase OR Micah Parsons OR Patrick Surtain instead of Trey Lance? [for all you ‘must draft a QB’ folks]

The great Z points out “when was the last time a defensive player of the year win the Siperbowl!” Fair enough - I think the answer is the same for “When was the last time a QB picked at 2 won the Superbowl?”

Maybe an underestimated consideration is that a great many Canadians will never forgive the US for this. American products and travel destinations will be avoided for a generation.
