We should measure Trump's strength by how much he dares to oppose Russia.

It feels like Trump voters for the first time figure that candidates can make empty promises and act against their interest... This makes me most sad.

Who should pick up the tab for the billions of dollars in damages from these deadly fires in LA? The fossil fuel industry who lied about climate change for decades, that's who. Brilliant must read from @cadavejones.bsky.social. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/22/o...

Trump could have done all those reforms he does now in his first term. Why didn't he? Perhaps because he'd never get a second term that way?

Honestly I don't see how the current set of policy changes will lead to more H1B visa's.

What do people use instead of IntelliJ on ArmMAC to develop Java. This freezing UI issue is getting out of hand.

Something funny. You really need to hack something in order to understand it's true potential. Many products have so much better open alternatives that the original vendors don't ship or allow. #KoReader

I wonder how long it will take that people understand the link between natural disasters, global warming and CO2 emissions. #Trump2.0

So is trump coin a new form of money laundry? Bump the price so that you can shuffle some donations to trump undisclosed?

wow! #KOReader is so much better than the kindle UI.

This chart is awesome. It clearly shows a trend and the variation within.

Uh. I'm getting flamed and downvoted for saying that the user is not ready for Linux as a community driven project for Gamers ...

I've spent a lot of time investigating watch making and my conclusion: I hope software engineering doesn't become like the watch industry. It has moved from an engineering discipline to a design one because one advancement in solved most issues.

Oh boy mechanical watches are an interesting research object. However: they are so expensive yet so imprecise. A quartz watch just destroys any mechanical precision for a fraction of the price.

This is so true. It's sad that many companies have perfect policies for libraries but forgot all binaries like java, brew and whatnot..

Uah. Junit4/5 can waste alot of time. I think I spent 3hours on a test. Cause? I ran junit5 on a @Test import from JUnit4 ...

What is the benefit of using guava multimap? It seems a lot of abstraction with little value?

At some point Logitech started bundling GPT software with their mouse software. I found this out because it was causing MASSIVE system instability on my machine. They silently rolled this stuff out and it's not only something I didn't need or want, but it's actively harming my system.

Apple UX has become much worse over time. Why can't I stop music from starting when headphones are plugged in? I wish linux was easier to run in corporate environments..

Do people in todays day and age still like #cli tools like top/vim/tmux?? Or has the #unix world moved to a more modern taste?

Is it known why #EA is so against #LinuxGaming ?

Response to www.forbes.com/sites/josipa... I'm going to live tweet my responses & convert to a post afterwards.
