The summary sheet seems too high-level www.airbnb.com/help/article... "We reorganized the Terms of Service to better highlight the additional terms and policies that apply to users." First thought: wait, *which* additional terms and policies? Second: These are not intended for normal people.

Given how the next four years will be, I kind of wish I were a bot and not experience the constant trepidation and angst.

- At what age did your childhood pet run away? - What was the name of your favorite unpaid internship? - In what city did you first experience ennui? - What is your ex-wife’s newest last name? - What sports team do you fetishize to avoid meaningful discussion with others? (2/3)

‪This was ~5m into the pandemic in the US, such a weird time, evidenced by being outside and wearing a mask because I didn't know WTF to believe.

The gist is you asked at the front desk, who would summon the building superintendent to take you to a secret floor for the cache, then on top of the roof for a view of the city. It was spectacular. He retired in 2016, but was offering occasional tours/events.

Photos from the 2024 White House tour. Tours are free, but must be booked in advance through your congressperson. (www.whitehouse.gov/visit/) We also had a Capitol tour offered by an intern.

I wish #bsky had an edit button. JFC, it's 2024.

When we got to DC, one of the locals affiliated with AC gave us a nighttime tour - the best time to visit the National Mall (IMO). This was 2016, when I could still get relatively close to the White House. 2024, lots of fencing and obstructions around it, sadly. GCEB2

A few more from the same site. I did drop a $10 in his donation box.

Have you seen the movie "Fly" on Hulu (released this year)? It covers a group of folks who do this sort of thing regularly. Some harrowing footage, but also a dose of reality.

Also also: there is another really cool yard of art in Northwestern PA, GCJ8M8, "Auto Art." It was my 100th geocache, and I had the opportunity to revisit the area when my daughter and I were touring colleges.

The T-Rex shares the area with a shark, eagle and alligator. The Palouse is a very interesting and pretty area to bike through.

You saw SNL's skit last week, right? "Tweaked just enough to avoid a lawsuit." www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG0x...
