I wonder how many "libs" he owns now?

🔥🔥 "you're routinely violating rights of immigrants who may not be citizens, but like it or not, they have statutory rights when residing in America. your agency acts as if laws don't matter; as if the election gave you a mandate to violate laws passed by congress. it did not give you that mandate"

earlier exchange between Noem & @chrismurphyct.bsky.social deserves as much if not more attention: Puppy Killer lied under oath and then proceeds to smear Kilmar Abrego Garcia as violent terrorist literally bone chilling to watch maga operatives deny SCOTUS in real time youtu.be/ogbnDRhGE-k?...

Oh, I know that. It's nice to dream sometimes, though.

Securities fraud is a state crime in New York, so if any of those were traded on the NYSE, they could be liable for state crimes, possibly.

You know that Leavitt doesn't like pronouns, so use "that bitch" instead of " she". As in, that bitch is a fanatic freak.
comment in response to post
Somehow I'm not surprised that Mr. Karoline Leavitt isn't supportive of actually using pronouns. I hope he figures it out eventually.

This is pretty damning.

It's all good. It was actually a fairly good conversation.

Sorry. Blame game.

That sucks. I live in Florida so it will never happen here until all the retirees pass away or move.

I live in Orange county Florida. You know, the state where bush won by SC decree. I had 3800 people in my county vote for RN, if they voted for Gore, the recount wouldn't have happened. Blame is on both sides, since you'd rather play the blue game. Have a great day.
comment in response to post
Wow, you're actually hung up on someone actually having a crisis of conscience and changing their mind? Let's go ahead and talk about Ralph Nader and the 2000 election then. If the 3800 people in my county had voted for gore instead, then we wouldn't have had bush either.

Don't support them, then. Take them over.

This is a concept the right understands, unfortunately. youtu.be/s7tWHJfhiyo?...

There is no disagreement there. Unfortunately, general elections are what matters for the presidential elections. Does Oregon have ranked choice voting yet?
comment in response to post
Until we move to ranked choice voting, we have to work within the system that we are in, so we need to vote for the most viable candidate that strays closer to our ideals than not. If you think that the green party is viable, good for you, but they haven't won a national election yet. /2

I think your missing the point by grandstanding on "ohh, I'm more left than you because I've been at it longer". My point isn't trying to out progressive you, and honestly good for you that you do things to promote progressives. /1

I agree. That's why it's important to vote your conscience in the primaries. That's how your voice gets heard.

But I realized that I need to work with others to prevent asshats like Trump from entering office. Get people in office that will at least listen, and then fix the problem. In fact, a willingness to put my needs aside, instead of arrogantly believing that I don't have to work with others. /4

I learned what damage can happen if I don't make my vote count, by voting for the person most likely to win out of those that are closer to my ideology. Nowadays, the Dems don't match my ideology either. Pretty close to a socdem at the moment. /3
comment in response to post
People always vote for their ideal candidates, at the expense of the least damaging candidate that can realistically get voted in. It's not about arrogance, believe it or not. 15 years ago, I was tea party. /2

I think you missed what I said. I'm not saying they match your ideology. I'm saying, at the time of the election, there were two realistic choices. One of the two were getting into office. General elections are always damage control. /1
comment in response to post
Don't take this the wrong way, but you and about a million other people just like you are part of the reason someone like Trump is in office. people should vote based on the best outcome, not because you match ideologies with a fringe candidate. The time to vote your conscience is primaries.

I was going to see the movie to support Zegler, but decided not to because of Jonah's remark. I wouldn't want to support his dad, a dad that raised a kid with absolutely no empathy. What an asshat.

Oh, you mean on the white house lawn? Or will they do it on the freshly paved over rose garden?

That's Mike waltz, not tim walz. Mike is the asshat from signal gate, and Tim is the governor of Minnesota.

Although I'd love for it to happen, it would still be a source of musk's wealth, so we still need to tank it, even if he's not CEO.

Well, according to George Orwell, Peace is War. Or was that War is Peace?
