Starting to get more active, but I’m barely there yet. Here to learn and enjoy, write about bicycling, and maybe do more in time. I ain't a bot, but then I'd say that, wouldn't I?

How about the Free Speech wall along Franklin? Yes, it's cold, and yes, we'd have to stand, but I would be there in a heartbeat.

The iPad (as in "plain old...") has many choices. I kludged something that works for me with an old Bluetooth keyboard and my wife uses an Apple smart keyboard. It has plenty of horsepower for email, web-surfing, and even light coding. For what I use an iPad for, it's the best value for the money.

Great tshirt, like a lot of your others. If you’re comfortable posting about where you find them, it would be great!

On the one hand, this (highly cited at the time but not new anymore) study importantly showed that even in the United States, building separated bike-lanes would lead to more riders. But for those asking “why not higher increases,” these were bike-lanes, but not necessarily complete bike NETWORKS.

Agreed that they are the ones with the power. The Democrats still have their voice, though, and they are not using it. Providing leadership and rousing public anger might go a long way toward shaking some (enough?) Republicans loose from the Trump train.

I hope you'll be able to share more at some point -- if it's possible. I imagine there are pretty strong limits on what you can say.

Thank you for announcing this. I've signed up. It took a minute or more from the time I clicked the "Going" button to the time the website responded. Many folks might give up before then. This was on Windows 10/Chrome.

*Some* people — the ones who think they’re going to lose when the status quo changes. Often, it seems like they’re the ones who get more attention from our media than those who believe they will benefit. Why is that, do you think ? 🤔
