Also, if we use the term "controversial" too loosely, it loses meaning. If you describe both Merrick Garland and Matt Gaetz as "controversial" picks, then there is an implicit equivalency. You're absolutely right that the medias language creates a lot of false normalcy

This was my favorite "turning the tide" chapter so far. The "even if the whole world is your enemy, Kuma will always be on your side" moment, followed by Bonney hearing the drums of liberation and realizing who Nika is... Most poignant OP character payoff moment for me yet.
