I highly recommend eyesight! Very underrated feature that people don't often talk about.

"Now some would say this is a precarious position to be in, but I'm actually pretty content with how this ended up" are the vibes I get.

I might have ideas for how to capture these better with a camera, phone or otherwise. What's your lighting setup for this?

The only thing I've ever seen you post is DnD quotes. Wtf... You're an artist?!

It was the default on my phone (I use crazy person Android) and it works well enough for my needs and it is less invasive and not shitting out AI and ads

Is now a bad time to recommend alternative search engines? Like, for example Bin...... Nah, I'm fucking with you! Duck Duck Go

I know the feels... Everytime I manage to dip my toes into something I haven't done in a while, it ends up being a very short lived reminder that I *do* like things but nonetheless lack the executive function to make them happen.

Sculpting with what? Do you use foam clay? Re: the colour scheme, that sounds amazing!

Can't wait to see how this turns out! I'm biding my time till I move and have enough space to make shit without imposing on my wife's space. Then, just maybe, I'll will up the drive to make a cool prop.

Haha of. And here I was thinking of facetiously calling you "grandma" or "old man" 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭

Happy birthday!! Be careful when moving, don't wanna throw your back out 😜

I've told multiple people I either am related to or friendly with that this is what the outcome would be and that didn't even have time to age, let alone aging like milk. This is fucking terrifying on such an astronomical level that I don't even have words to describe it.

Idk what the green dice hate is about. I've got 2 sets of the same green dice, granted they're just chessex, but still. I love a nice green die, too bad I don't have the budget for more dice!

Lolz I can't say I'd be upset if they were there 😝

If there's no giant statue that means you're witnessing the hero's tale itself, and that is something I can get behind!! Also, despite appearances I'm a huge nerd... 🤣

Looks great!

Right side, easy. Darker colour on the top face of the left makes it look like it's not a separate facet from the chamfered edge

Yups, that sounds right to me

I'm local(ish?) so that might make helping/recommendations easier. I met and bought stuff from you at the last couple of Anime North cons, most recently a purple set of dice

step by step setup or a static one that never moves. Static is obviously not reasonable if you're space is small which is why I've been struggling.

What you're saying totally makes sense and is completely valid! It's a lot to juggle and it's not easy. I am happy to help you try and figure some stuff out more directly if you want. One thing I think can help is reducing the toil of those weak points. So have a setup that can either be a clear

Given that I own multiple dicey things from you at this point, I feel safe saying that if you were to get really nice shots of stuff you or lean into some process/bts stuff, you'd probably generate some good engagement/growth

giving "unsolicited" feedback. The exception is when something floors me with how beautiful it is, in which case I will say so without an invitation to give the feedback.
comment in response to post
Another thing that helps, imo, is incorporating & inviting feedback. Some makers do this by asking what ink colours to use for dice or what colour mica powders to use for resin or some other variation of that when making stuff. I find that invites me to participate other than just showing up and

I'm no marketing expert, but I can say what gets me to engage. If someone has genuine passion for what they're making and do a semi-decent job presenting their work (e.g. decent photos of the work) then that tends to lend to me wanting to engage. I tend to look for shared excitement when I engage.

Is yelling at paper an effective strategy for prop making too??? I'm great at screaming so I might have a chance at making props after all 🥹

That box is wildly beautiful! Gives off mad autumn vibes 🍁🍂

He's just exceptionally aware that you've done something with those treats.

Those are some weird-ass looking ankles you've got there, sir. 10/10
comment in response to post
Some people are just built different 🤣
comment in response to post
I love how that's the angle and not that they're literally just food. Though, yes I will gladly get behind this either way

BRING THE GOOD BOY TO ME AND HE CAN HAVE THEM. GOOD DAY!

WHO ARE YOU TO DENY HIM ANKLES?! HE'S A GOOD BOY HE DESERVES ALL THE ANKLES!!

Pretty sure with some research it can be proven that lemons, being plants, genuinely have more intelligence than "AI".

Just be careful what website you put on the packaging, wouldn't want a repeat of the whole Wicked fiasco! Jokes aside, this is cool AF!!

My guess would be that it's caused by the way it attaches to the debugger. I have a vague memory that dev tools plugins don't work unless you launch them via the console. So, if I use React Dev tools, I can load the URL to access the page but it won't connect if I don't launch it first via console
comment in response to post
Haven't been using the dev tools extensively recently so the exact way to get it to work is a bit fuzzy, but I've found that the reconnect button works only if you reload the bundle from scratch afterward. Iirc if you restart metro then you need to open it from scratch.

How frequently do you typically have new products? Was looking at one of these for a gift but the timing was unfortunately not too favourable. Plus apparently due to the Canada Post strike I apparently woulda been screwed regardless 🤣

They're hella beautiful btw! Absolutely stunning and the pale gold was about as perfect of an inking choice as possible!

They feel very spacey to me in addition to the witchy vibe. To play off others, maybe Cosmic Hex?
