I think there was a demo on how to do that somewhere but i dont remember. I think you can have users required to input a password or license key

Ah ok thats fair. If you ever do make it a tiny 15 second video showing how convenient it makes updating will gain interest in the addon and your other addons i think

Therads was really smart to only allow one hashtag. This makes it so posts with a hashtag are also basically a post to a subreddit. A different appview could give us a Reddit/forum style thread to posts with a hashtag

Blender makes auto saves every 2 minutes by default that you can recover by pressing File > Recover > autosave
Blender also makes a backup file that ends in .blend1 if u remove the 1 it should work.

really excited for that! my N panel is a little heavy with all the addons i have installed haha. Unlooped and Action to Scene Range are also great addons for animators and would be nice in default Blender too :)

This with a forum like ui would be phenomenal. Public access to the data makes it so it can be useful knowledge base like Forums are/were. Much better than chatrooms with data that cant be indexed by search engines

one note though: considering 99% of people use bsky .social and our .social domain is parked for us when we change to a domain name, can inputting just our username let us login? for example i should be able to type in xinnix when logging in and not have to write xinnix.bsky .social
