Saw the Antonov as it left Tucson yesterday! It was loaded with at least two F16s.

Desperate spin for what Trump's people understood was a catastrophic misplay by a senile fool, up to Trump's many allies in the media to fix it for him bsky.app/profile/marl...

ALL that said, a) I could have the flight # wrong b) there’s a lot of delays and cancellations at DCA today because of traffic volume. Look at AA1635. Diverted to PIT because of that

can go ahead and assume this is apocryphal, although it's being presented to me as factual

very very true. Unrelated; is Marrakesh known to be (however they are describing it)?

"New Zealand took both first and second place on the rankings, with second place going to Queenstown Airport... However, on the other end of the spectrum, Marrakech Airport came in last place, although still with a relatively okay score of 7.58. It was preceded by Bergamo and Rome Fiumicino.."

.. *ALL*-- *without exception*-- state very strongly "flying is still incredibly safe" -- and I know that's true. But that will continue to be the case in *spite* of the actions of Trump/Musk- certainly not because of them.

Appreciate you asking. I have to admit my bias in this case is just too strong to weigh in meaningfully. Musk is SUCH an idiot and he's so, so dangerous-- I'm just hoping people wake up soon, but this is a total clusterfuck. The comments I'm receiving behind the scenes are so alarming-- although..

I'd call it moderately exciting-- but someone else said that they shared the very exciting perspective. For me, I got no interest in goin' there (plus I don't live in Atlanta)

(but at the time I posted that very first post, I didn't know)

I know the exact route being announced, ATL- to a Non-Southern Africa destination.

A counterpoint from someone I trust: "I'm not super optimistic but at least they've acknowledged reality (via the NPS score deficit etc) and have begun the 12 steps-- I feel they are acknowledging that tinkering around the edges or improving D0 won't reduce that gap"

I mean I suppose there are those things AA has already mentioned/hinted at that will be more premium, but, overall, to **my** perception, premium is just -not- the focus. YMMV

as in not southern Africa

Think ex-ATL to Africa-ish

that AA flight did return due to a low hydraulic quantity. Not a huge deal, obviously.
