I think it was something about demons on the History channel. I fell asleep.

Well, the National Treasure movies are fun.

I would want to wait to be sure there aren't weird side effects, but it could be a good thing, even if it's just for critical needs till a person's own type of natural blood was available. That would take some of the weight off the shoulders of us O negative folks.

And all of you, please know that whenever, or if ever, or even if you don't come out, we love you.

I was gonna say My Own Private Idaho, but someone else already did, albeit without calling it by name; so I'll go to our standby To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. My husband and I both love that movie.

My Own Private Idaho. Some of it was filmed in Portland, and I saw it right after I moved away from there.

Always Hello Goodbye. But lots of others compete for second place. I've really been enjoying Rain whenever I have heard it lately. Martha My Dear is one of the two best songs ever written about a dog. And The Fool on the Hill is attached to fond childhood memories.

We have them in our neighborhood, and a couple weeks back the wind was high and our doors were open, and we had a dry sycamore leaf delivered directly to my painting table. So naturally I had to paint it.

Very nice. I think it's a sycamore tree.

Or they hear Jesus' statement, "You will always have the poor with you," as an excuse for not doing anything to help those in need, rather than recognizing he's quoting a verse in Deuteronomy that is an assignment, not an excuse.

Except Tusk. I mean, you gotta exempt the one where Stevie twirls a baton in the video, right?

Somebody should just build him a toy time machine in the WH attic and let him play in it, since the only ideas he has involve going back in time.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love. But Fat Bottomed Girls would be my entrance music if I were ever in a position to need entrance music.

Yes, but as long as that doctrine was in place there was the possibility of counternarratives getting a wider hearing.

Remember that Reagan paved the way for far-right media when he abolished the Fairness Doctrine.

But keep in mind that what followed was a theocracy and civil war.

And if you're like me and use creative spelling and word choice on cat posts, you can translate it in your alt text. That helps more than just visually impaired folks.

I guess nobody she loved had HIV. She stood by while her POS husband let AIDS ravage an entire generation and more.

Casey loved peanut butter and would fight me for the center of a Reese's cup. Archie would steal greens while I was making salad and eat till he foundered.

When we emerge from this interregnum we need to make sure ICE is abolished altogether. It has been a reign of terror waiting to happen since day one.
