The Americans are robbing the Ukrainians in broad daylight!! Wow.

“As anthropologists, we are witnessing a doubling down on the discipline’s classical roots where a Palestinian woman can only occupy the savage slot–she can only speak as an object of research, through the colonizer’s narrative of her” www.americananthropologist.org/online-conte...

Art imitates life. A self-anointed king propped up by a slippery tech overlord.

Too bad Uvalde Elementary didn’t sell Teslas.

DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION: My reporter Brett Murphy obtained a remarkable directive to folks at USAID: Empty the safes with the classified and personnel records and then, "Shred as many documents first, and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break."

So sad. This 2021 article announced the addition of learning modules/lesson plans on African American history to Arlington National Cemetery's website and now they have all been deleted. 🗃️ #sschat #edusky #historyteacher northernvirginiamag.com/family/educa...

Not super happy seeing more and more leftists embracing "degeneracy" as a critique!!!!!!! Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

Looking at temperature anomalies over the last month (left), 3 months (center), and 12 months (right) across the #Arctic... Yikes! Data from doi.org/10.24381/cds...

Mayor Adams shares lie that USAID is funding news sites (the government pays for subscriptions, just like the mayor) when I asked about resignations from high-ranking prosecutors in protest of request for his case to be dropped. I asked for examples and he couldn't provide any.

Here’s video of the mayor sharing this debunked lie. His communications team is no help with clarifying what the mayor might have meant.

thanks everyone for your responses btw! i may have an opportunity to speak w some of the IEEE folks in the future & would love to make some videos that would pique folks’ interest, esp about emerging technologies. still feeling out the logistics but pls do let me know your thoughts if u have em ⬇️

“i like your tech content but stop with the liberal stuff it’s annoying” hey u know what’s annoying? trying to post tech stuff & being called a DEI hire or constantly worrying if i’ll still be able to control my own finances or body in the next 2+ years

“how do i become more technical?” fuck something up & fix it. repeat

finally migrating away from twitter/X. sad because it’s where my career really jump started into something special. 2021 twitter will always have a place in my heart. but it’s way too easy to be harassed there, & i’m tired of bots. it just feels overwhelmingly negative now. time for something new 🦋🐘

i want to spend a stupid amount of money on cute/cool things. drop yr favorite small businesses/artists pls 🙏🏼🌱

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service. “Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

All food that can be grown locally SHOULD be grown locally. This would: - reduce climate change - produce healthier food - reduce food shortages - harden the food infrastructure - remove the power from oligarchs like Bill Gates who are trying to centralize and control ALL of the food supply

I'm retraining myself to sub in "civil rights" anytime I see or hear DEI. That's what's under threat. Keeping my powder dry helps keep me from all-out despair. Also, Torias reminds me that there are still spots in the world that are soft and warm.

Before environmental regulations we had polluted rivers catching on fire and cities turning on streetlights in the afternoon because the smog was so thick
