Trump campaigned on replacing income tax with tariffs. He promised to replace income tax, abolish tax on tips and overtime, abolish tax on social security, and recently, to abolish all taxes on incomes under $150k. None of that happened. Instead, we have all those taxes AND massive tariffs.
