Crazy thing is, Sync is probably my favorite Abyss character in both design and writing. Although he could change given how ToTR wrote him, in the context of Abyss' story, how he was handled makes sense.

Let's use Ras, for example. Had we had more interactions with him, he'd likely be more remembered. He has a solid role in the story, but because he's hardly there throughout the story, it's truthfully hard to care a significant amount about him.
