It’s something. My point was, Democrats were wrong to bitch about the filibuster when it’s their friend now if they want to use it.

I love it for him. Let’s all genderbend with all the Republicans.

Further south, there’s Bostonians. Bostonians universally will cut a bitch, even the Unitarians. It’s just in the soil.

Thank you for what you do. It’s truly heroic and we’re all grateful for you.

We’re definitely going to need some Republicans to wake up.

They were case law, not statute. It’s a lot harder to repeal a law passed by Congress than to get the Supreme Court to reverse a 50-year old ruling.

The thing with the filibuster is that it gives the minority party some leverage for good or ill. It’s not something to get rid of on a whim.

I’m really glad to hear that.

It’s odd to think of it now, but I used to write 4-5 letters a week and drop by the post office to mail them. And cards. I used to send people lots of cards.

While I agree with in principle, the problem is that states aren’t making contributions to the federal coffers, it’s their residents’ taxes. Now if only someone could figure out a way for us people in blue states to hold back that portion of our taxes that goes to the welfare queen red states.

If everyone who wanted to leave right now were able to, what percentage of the country would? 25%? 30%? If that happened, what would the effect on the US economy be? There’s no use being a king if a significant portion of your subjects leave.

I’m sure if Mike Johnson came to Chicago he’d get a proper welcome.

Not just losers, but weirdos. Don’t forget how that gets under their skin.

I mean, as far as I’m concerned, my people have done a reasonably decent job in the past, but I’m sure they’re feeling a lot of what we are feeling and trying to figure out how to react. That being said, we need more Jasmine Crockett type energy in all the Democrats.

I think you’re right.
