Beautiful! I was lucky to take a class with Sivia years ago - she encouraged us to learn to read our knitting and oooo boy, what a gift. She is wonderful & a huge reason why I also have drawers full of lace. 🩶🧶

I’m kinda lo-tech so don’t mind the so-so built-in speakers - this has Bluetooth, radio, cd player, and cassette port (I still have all my cassettes 🙈) and it was really, really inexpensive. I’ve had it a couple years & still love it. www.crosleyradio.com/record-playe...

It was a pretty great way to start the day. There was loud singing & crazy dancing & making the dog spaz out 😂

Pretty sure I’ve loved on this before, but also certain that if I hadn’t and just the uncredited pics were posted, I’d know it was yours. Those colors have Will written allllll over them! 💜💙

Thanks - I’m not good with color and I got panicked more than once that it was not working and almost frogged it. It was a huge confidence builder - I tend to knit with neutrals so this was a lot 😂 I do love how it turned out!

This was my second - I bought yarn for my first and experimented with color combos on this one using scraps. I can’t wait to make another - it’s a really fun knit.

Low ceiling, low floor… reminds me of the dusty basement in my grandparent’s early 1900’s house… #GoMaribers

I have a big jar of fingering weight yarn bits leftover from other projects that is looking for a purpose 😊 - thank you!

Oooo - I didn’t realize you had a temp cast on! I always use a cotton yarn of similar gauge for provisional casting on - maybe try this! Won’t split or break!!

Thank you 😊

Don’t give up! Lace gets easier, promise!

It’s easier to read lace once you’re further away from your cast on & there’s enough fabric to allow you to see a pattern to read. I say try again (with stitch markers - bah to rules! can always drop them once you’ve got some confidence & flow!) It’s ok to shift them at dec/inc points 😊 Good luck!

I might have to copy you - this is so cheery it made me smile 🤍

Yikes 😱 but also inspiring. I have a BT sweater that I wore once and the collar bind-off edge broke when I took it off… it got packed in the move and 4 years later it’s still waiting to be fixed. This week. Thanks 🙏🏻

It was very out of my comfort zone for sure but I frequented the same few shops over the years so these folks saw me often and honestly should have been able to make my drink by rote. Made it easier to speak up 🙂

Quit starbucks years ago but *they* used to get annoyed when they messed up my tall drink by making it larger (ya mess up my proportions w/the extra milk 🤦🏻‍♀️) & I would insist on them remaking it instead of accepting their offer of taking the bigger, more expensive drink at no extra cost. Every time.

This. Solidarity en masse in front of the public. It’s a good starting point.
