If you like the “shitty”materials, and if you have the time, I say why not prep something with the shitty materials in addition to the more formal stuff?

The thing is, there absolutely will be elections, but I doubt they will be fair elections.

Aside from the fact that a lot of public services *absolutely should not* be ran like corporations, you should feel stupid for expecting sound business practices from a dude who bankrupted a casino.

I would reconsider my atheism were this to happen.

Ugh, it’s hard to watch this stuff, this abuse, as as it happens, especially since it’s not what anyone wants to watch nor is there anything anyone can really do about it. It will all be purged by the site owner, I feel sure, not that this helps. Yeesh

Was it bad? It may have been flawed and unrealistic, but it was also super enjoyable. I could not take my eyes off of Eiza Gonzales, though, so I may have a skewed recollection.

I didn’t like S2 as much as I loved S1, but now I have extra incentive to watch S3!

We also looked at the idea of archetype in folklore, but the class was very anti-archetype. It may make sense within a certain culture’s body of folklore, but one needs to be careful about assuming its validity cross culturally.

I took a folklore class or two in college, and our professor was wary about Campbell’s assertions of universality, mainly when ethnographic data did not always support it. In addition to Campbell, we also looked at the hero’s journey according to Otto Rank and Lord Raglan.

To be fair, they’re not accountants. Say, why aren’t they using forensic accountants to identify fraud?

I should read more science fiction.

“Accidentally”? I don’t think they care about the body counts as long as reportage of them is squashed.

Yeah, ICE would probably miss quota if they had to, oh, I don’t know, follow the law.

Unsurprisingly, apparently quite poorly. They apparently fail at the underlying logic.
