I remember when I was younger assuming that these kinds of videos must be sped up. It was a shock when I discovered this could actually happen. I guess with sunsets being my frame of reference I was unprepared for understanding the speed of highly charged cosmic particles hitting the magnetosphere.

Agree. I find this aspect of the fandom subculture really strange. It's not just female idols that face it but males too. I don't think being a fan gives you any claims over a person's private life. It's their work you enjoy, you don't know them, and you are not their friend let alone boss.

Heartsick... That's the exact word I was looking for. That's exactly how I feel reading that screenshot. What happened to due process, innocent until proven guilty, benefit of the doubt? Is this even America? It is so unfamiliar.

working farmers, the pensioners, the disabled... I thought this country elected a leftwing government! I've spent most of the last 6-9 months reeling. They are just like the Tories. Still, at least they decided to finally renationalise the railways.
