When I were a lad it took me under four minutes to boil an egg to optimum viscosity, i.e. what the Czechs call "na hniličku", i.e. overripe-pear consistency, not too runny but not too hard to dunk your soldiers in. Now it takes almost twice as long. Makes you wonder what is going on. :-)
