I believe Barnes already alluded that the Civil War will go on pause for a "few years" starting in 2026. Similar to what other rivalries have been through post re-alignment moves.

Was a big mistake (and learning XP for Bray) to set the expectations so high.
This team needed to be nurtured as underdogs building for the future and counting every small victory as a win building towards something, not challenged to live up to the success of the recent past.

Sucks, but feels like some top-to-bottom culture issues that fall on Bray are showing.
Team feels lost and rudderless and not taking any steps towards building toward anything as a result of an inexperienced HC making mistakes and inadvertently setting the players up to fail.
