I've asked Reddit once, but you answered my question. He would TOTALLY have voted for Trump, but in an accelerationist way. He'd want to fuck things up, but he was wrong and people would not have learned the lesson he wanted them to learn.

There are 5. The 4th is kinda mid and the 5th was a bit of a downer, but the first three are brilliant. I once laughed out loud with a passage. Don't remeber what it was exactly. There's too much goodness. Someone wrote a 6th after Adam's death, but have not seen it yet.

The film cannot convey the absolute chaos of the books. They are brilliant.
But my favourite SciFi has been Dune since 1995.

I'm 44. It's not weird. We're always told 30 is supposed to be old, but I only felt my body less strong very recently and I still feel like I could go on several adventures.

It is indeed unfortunate that the fucking bar is underground. Happy Easter. Or happy Passover. Have a nice weekend if not religious. Cheers.

You use a female name, I call you sis. Simple enough. I just wanted to say I also read the same thing at first. Wasn't expecting the vocative in my sentence to be more meaningful. Virtual hugs from Latin America. 🫂

There is no "only" reason. There are many factors at play. You can easily point to AT LEAST 6-8 decisions she made that lost her a few hundred thousand votes here and there. Some easier than others.

You intentionally misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm saying you should take over that party, not wait for them to save you. You don't have that many years on me. I'm 44 and mine were clearly more productive in understanding politics.

Political Parties don't have friends. They are a territory to be conquered and taken over. You can't take over Republicans, but you can take over the dems... If you fight. But you can continue to to virtue signal while fascists gain more power.

50 years, but you have the attitude of a whiny, bratty teenager who virtue signals and makes political decisions based on emotion and vibes. You're worse than milquetoast libs.

Why do you assume I see them as "friends?" Is the strawman fallacy the only way yoi know how to argue?
comment in response to

Yeah, the genocide is awful, but Trump sped it up. There are many more issues than the ones you like to use for virtue-signal. Incidentally, this is my president. Never liked him much, but voted for him. THRICE.

2) The US sponsored a 21-year dictatorship in my country. Also, for all his flaws, Biden did work with Macron to protect our last election and I'm fairly sure that lack of cooperation from the US made many in our military back off the coup attempt, but they still came too close for comfort.

So, you can either try to bring down the system through violence or fight to take over the party and push the neocons back to the Republican side. It's fucked, but it's the system you have. And I'll speak about it as much as I want for 2 reasons: 1) what happens in thr US affects the whole world;

My citizenship status is irrelevant to my point. Which is not about a party, but about power. Power is never pure, but it is what you need to implement changes in society, and it hates a vacuum. If you abandon the fight, the other side takes over and pushes more of their vision.
comment in response to

Speaking as an outside observer. You two-party system is shite, but it's what you got right now. Taking it over is your only option. Looking for a 3rd party would only make the fascists stronger.

I was never too upset when the celebrities I enjoyed turned out to be kinda shitty, but I am so happy when they take the right positions, like John Cusack and Green Day.

It's easier to focus their frustration in one easy-to-absorb reasons that turn all who disagree into bad people. Was there sexism? Yes. Was there racism? Yes. Were there other reasons? Fuck yes.

Nah, she was a bad candidate and the main reason was how wishy washy she was on the important issues. AOC is infinetly better and is getting better with each rally.

He knows how they think better than any of us. Understanding how they think os the best way to reach out to them. You still need a majority to win elections.
